I'm Stuart - V40 and Level 1 assistant coach to the club juniors
I've just started throwing Javelin and Discus, with self measured pb of 29.80 (700g). I hope to compete for the first time at a warm-up meeting in L'boro a week on Sun and develop through the season. Maybe I'll bump into one or other of you in the (east) Midlands

Hi there,
I'm based in the North West.
As a thrower i do all the throws but manage 32m in the javelin. It would be amazing what I could do with a bit of training!
As a coach most of my coaching is work related (I work in sports development). But I also do coaching for the Northern Learning Disability Group and the National Learning Disability Squad.

Jim Cowell
I'm a coach and thrower/sprinter/jumper for Worcester AC. Threw my Pb of 54.08 about 6 years ago but haven't managed to consistently go over 50m since mainly due to the fact I average 9 events per league match! I'm getting too slow to make the sprint team now so hopefully i can work on my javelin and improve my pb!

hi there im john bryson (the one with the clipboard and the chicken legs at Javfest II) this is my second season of javelin, only started when in my late 20's. i help sam and jim run this debarkle of a club and i would say im the brainchild of nothing.... but i did invent the megaburger at uni (a burger, a sausage, fried chicken and a dash of salad squeezed between 2 slices of kebab meat pizza... what more could a growing lad want)
when not throwing the javelin i like to take advantage of my freetime and fill it with my favourite things such as monkey shaving, freelance work as a squirrel dietician and international binge drinking.im a big fan of perri como and all types of chilean mountain music. my favourite colour is eggshell tinted off tangerine.
My ambitions are world peace, an end to starvation and for nike to make javelin spikes that last more than a season.... oh yeah and to win the scottish champs this season.... should be easy i only need to add about 25m to my pb and cambell and co dont stand a chance !
women love me and men want to be what more can i say !

I'm James,
Run the website and moderate this forum. Sling spears but badly at the moment. Hit an early season PB of 58.54 but have had a few weak ones since. Like to do plenty of other events too, particularly high jump (1.95 so far this season) and will be doing the world double decathlon championships again in October after coming 9th last year.
Also played/play plenty of other sports, mostly football, volleyball and basketball and do a bit of part time work as a gym instructor. Spend my days doing pharmaceutical research which is why its taken so long to get the results up on the site, busy times!
Evening all.
