I have a PB of 36m and comp best of 30m which was into a strong headwind. Can someone please help me with advice as what to do next. Cheers, Dalt.

Hey im Amber Burdett, I'm 16 and i throw for Charnwood A.C. Javelin's my main event and my current p.b is 40.19, which im hoping to top at the english school's in July. This is the end of my first full season of athletics i did quite a few competitions last year, but this is my full year! I have a rubbish technique if any at all, it just all comes form my arm which isnt a good thing:P At the moment i train once a week for javelin. I really hope that next year i can get some technique training in and really up my game, i hope that if i can do what i do now without any technique that i will continue to improve with time:)

Welcome Amber.
Whoever is coaching you.... make sure you work solely on technique, even if you have to go right back to basics, after the English Schools' Championships. I shall be there and shall look out for you competing.
So if a strange looking man comes up to you after the Competition... trust me I'm a retired teacher and Javelin Coach.
