Hi, i'm Chris Smith aka "Irn Bru" and i am 29 years young. I throw for Arbroath locally in Scotland and for Borders in the British league.
Current pb of 64.32 was set last year but after wintering extremely well i am hoping to destroy that especially when i get a decent run up (anyone who witnessed the javfest efforts could probably verify that).
My main hobby is picking up injuries which i seem to do on a weekly basis!!!
WATCH OUT IRN BRU COMIN THRU!!!!!!!

Hi
I'm Chris Hughff aka H. I borrowed Lash's computer to put a post on here so sorry for the confusion guys!
My pb is 67 and bits and I recently opened up will a credible 54.75 off my full run so as you can see I've wintered well!
I have ginger hair so beware!!!
I am widely regarded as the most talented athlete Wilf Paish has ever seen, so watch out for me this year!

Hey,
Thought I should introduce myself properly on the forum, as I have been using it a bit more recently!!
I'm Dave Parker AKA Lasher
PB is 78.33(set at altitude).
Wintered really well as i threw 70 and bits in Potchestroom and then 69 and bits in Mersin (representing GB).
Love javelin more than anything in the world!! In fact I spend most of my time polishing OTE's and Nemeth's!! Can't actually get to sleep at night if i have'nt rehearsed my Olympic winning speech a couple of times and gone through some drills in my head!!
In really good shape at the mo and can't wait to get out there and throw!! First comp is at Loughborough International and am hoping for at least 90metres!!
Cheers
Dave

sorry guys!!!!!!
i know you all wanted to see a bet of mammoth proportions but Dav and me thought it was better if he spent his money on beer and steak for the weekend!!!!!
Just in case he lost!!! nah only playing
As it's coming close to season and we need to get game heads on i am hereby ceasing the juvenile banter that makes up half of the winter!!!(well my part of it) mental/goran feel free to carry on!!!
Good luck to everyone and it will have been your pleasure to throw with me!!!

The 38 was his standing throw! His 54 was current form! Spoke to him earlier. He was quite pleased with his progress!
