good to see two young lads from where i'm from on the forum! maybe both of you can invite some of the other javelin throwers from your group to come on here? hmmmm, i think i might take this oppertunity to re-introduce myself! - after all if you've read more than 5 posts today then atleast 1 or 2 of those will be mine.... i'm "slinger" making up one half of the comedy duo act "the slinger and lasher show" i'm about most days unless my house is being re-built and although most of what i say is drivel i hope some of it maybe of use to some! ....and no, this post wasn't a blatant attempt to increase my ever growing post count!!! ;D ;D ;D

Well, my name is Costas (not Gatsioudis!), but many of you may know me from other forums. I seem to be the only person round here who hasn 't thrown a javelin in one 's life! I really fancy the javelin though a runner myself, and my favourite thrower nowadays is Andre Thorkildsen, but I am swiftly becoming a fan of Matti Mortimore 's (I have seen his name round here). My favourites ever are Steve Backley and Jan Jelezni.

Well, a legend... I 've never thought of that!
It 's true, though, that a certain few (on a certain forum) seem to get nightmares of me every night...
