I do have the details but After consultation with James we feel that there is now not enough time or resources to get this show on the road.
We have both had a lot of things going on in our private lives which have left us struggling to find the time to get this together as we would have liked. We will now be postponing JF7 till April 2009 so that we can give it our full attention
We shall be locating and advertising through the forum, all the open meetings where javelin is on, through out september as by way of comensation to the members.
The behind the scenes work that goes into the festivals is probably more than people realise.. we just haven't had the time.
Sorry everyone

Sam
Is Ipswich out of the question? I could ask - it has a bar and all the faciliteis and usually a good wind with two throwing ends. If you want to do it and if the other throwers want to throw there - we could organise it.
Give me a call

Sam, as i previously said Brunel is up for grabs!! There wont be any cost as I'll swing it lol, winds are always favourable and there are bars withing 150m of the track!!
If you can sort the officials then i can do the rest!! Ring me and we cand sort rather than sacking it off till next April!!

Just wanted to let you know, Sam, your efforts are very much appreciated, not just with Jav Fest but with the whole Jav Club UK scene. I think you are what the Yanks like to call, a "can do" fella.

still waiting to hear about brunel, it's all very well saying it can be held there chris but if you don't hand over the contact details for the person you spoke to about holding the event there i cannot confirm it wil be held there 100%.
at this stage jav fest still has no venue for september 2008 and is therefore on hold. time is running out
