We managed to get some very decent sponsorship after a lot of hard work, which I have used to buy a selection of new javelins. It was a case of use it or lose it so I used it. Ryan was voted Young Scottish Sportsman of the Year and that helps to lever money out of some companies with the help of some contacts in the local press for publicity.

No he is still going strong but now that he is moving up an agegroup he is clearing out all the unecessary spears. sam asked that chris because he knows ryan has moved up and will be throwing the 700g javelin, yet he's selling one! i know why he's selling the nemeth 700 - becuase he simply doesn't like the thing! - truth is it is a good javelin still and will fly 70m easily by a decent u/17 boy, but horses for courses and not everyone likes the same things i guess....... i have got a new 700g javelin too btw.......... and it's a peach of a spear! but i can now safely say that the original 700g nemeth [yellow and orange, not the blue and orange one] in the right hands will fly further than any other.

If Sadie does not like it I will use it for an under weight training Jav. If I dont like it, I will raffle it for a quid at Javfest! ;D Oh, £78 by the way

Well, Sadie threw it today for 3 throws. It does not like a strong headwind, just fell out of the sky. Looked like it was going for miles then looked like it hit a brick wall. Diana went just under 37 again, so consistent.

got to nail it hard and flat into a strong headwind chris, do that and the nemeth will float on it quite nice..........keep the point next to your head, keep the tail up and nail it at your sightline - job done!

Yes Phil, Ta for that. I actually told her as much, but did she listen?! To be honest, I can see it as another option for her to use.
