Just had a quick check and it is up to £32 and £15 postage (£47 total so far)reserve not met. Sounds like starting price a little more than 99p Obviously an Ebayer!

i will point out however that they are excellent javelins for the top 10 sort of ranking girls and any aspiring top end of the ranking u/15 boys and will in the right hands go 60m + easy, if you are a talented boy or women. on the subject of second hand prices i have just managed to find a javelin i've been after for a long while and they retail at just and so less than 500 pounds - i paid 150 and it's in mint condition and only used maybe a few times, another pair we bought ages ago were off dave parker - i bought his UK record 700g nemeth [which they don't make anymore ] and a nordic rapid 80, now these would together retail at about 550 or so and we paid 160 for the pair. unfortunately second hand javelin prices aren't great!

Slinger,
How would this Nemeth Classic 70m rated Javelin compare to a Nemeth Standard 60m, I assuming that the difference would be very little, Is that correct?.
Cheers
Javdad

i'm unsure.
am i right in thinking the standard 60m one is the all light purple coloured one? i know the classic 70 is the one with the yellow and darker purple tail.
i have a classic 75 and a 40m all purple one and they don't compare really.
something i'd say though is if i'm right in thinking that the 60m one has a "sharp" point? i know the classic 70 has a "fat" point and with this in mind the 60m one would be more forgiving and be easier to flight correctly - thicker ones apparently are harder to hit clean, so with this in mind the 60m one would be suited to more of a beginner.

Nemeth CatalogueThere doesn't appear to be a Classic 70 600g jav. There is a Club 70 which is Purple, Yellow and blue and a Standard 70. The Club 70 is listed as being better for inaccurate release. Club 70Purple with a Purple / Yellow / Blue tail. Excellent mid character javelin for competition and practice. Very goodcompensation in case of inaccurate release. Used by: Tilea List price circa £262. Standard 70All purple. Superb high flight international competition javelin. Good compensation in case of inaccurate release. Used by: Tilea IAAF Certificate 3 List Price circa £172. Standard 60All purple. Hight flight competition javelin. Club, university level. Good compensation in case of inaccurate release IAAF Certificate 2 List circa £147.

Thanks for that Patience exactly what I wanted to know, My son Ryan has just been given a grant of £100 from the kind people at the Arthur Kendall memorial Trust and I was thinking of putting this towards a 700g Javelin for next year but the 70 club does look like a better Javelin for him for this year just can't make my mind up!.

My son threw the standard 60 last year as well as the club 70 and 75. The standard didn't fly as far as the clubs did although it was cheaper. Pay your money and take your choice.
