oh aye! but unfortunately you've just admitted that despite all the differing names you are infact all the same person!!!!!! so it doesn't matter whether your undercover/silent/quiet or noisey!!!! you'd be no good undercover! i suggest changing your name to something more appropriate!......... undercover you are not!

Hi folks,
My name is Daniel, my p.b. is at the moment 48,90m which encouraged me to start training for the event. So hopefully I'll throw a lot further next summer. But first up some heavy weightlifting during the winter and keep training for the 400m which is up to now my main event.

Ah..mr Crawford..... i cannot wait to see you throw so i can find out how it is that you throw the 800g 2m+ further than you throw the 700g...

wat does that mean? i dont know y i have thrown the 800 further than the 700, if u dont believe me check it out i know you have done it i just want to see your technique to see if it is because of poor style that you don't throw the 700g properly.. good throw with the 800g for a first year U17

The difference could be because of poor style, i must have thrown with different techniques in the 2 different competitions ;D Normally wen people talk about the 800 to 700, wat do they give extra, around 4 or 5 m maybe, so the poor style should make my 800g around 50m........ ?

the difference between 700g and 800g is usually around 6-7metres of course this will vary slightly to individuals who may just concentrate on one implemant more than the other, fact is the 700g javelin is absolutely the opposite to the 800g javelin in terms of it's behaviour during the flight. The way you throw will also have great bearing on your results, by this i mean that your individual throwing style may suit the 700g more or vice versa the 800g more.........
....optimal conditions for a right handed javelin thrower using the current 800g javelin is a dry warm day with a moderate consistent tailwind going over the right shoulder [slight X wind from behind] importance being from the right side, due to the thrower imparting spin onto the javelin or revolutions if you like, rolling onto/into the wind, if you throw with a left to right X wind you'll notice a dramtic loss in distance plus the javelin being pushed left due to the javelin's revolutions rolling WITH the wind,
a very important point to mention is that with the 800g javelin's CoG, in proportion to it's length being relatively near the point it makes it much easier to get a more consistent throw, perhaps this is why young athletes who are using sometimes achieve good results? this however is very different to the 700g javelin which has a much further back CoG, in relative terms to it's length this makes it very erratic, especially to those who haven't thrown this implemant for any length of time - some people call this javelin an all or nothing javelin, quite often a series will measure a 55m and a 65m throw, to go back to the earlier point about the two being completely different, the ideal conditions for the 700g is perhaps a warm, slight headwind with the javelin thrown quite low and very flat. so it's almost topped but when hit wrong results are very down....perhaps this is why some athletes struggle with the 700g, due to it's tempermental behaviour???

Hi ;D Im Louise Capicotto and im 16 years old. Ive been throwing for about 3 years or so now for my school mainly and for my local club Watford Harriers. Ive also thrown for my county of Hertfordshire a few times. My PB is 30.05m but I did not have the chance to improve on this last year as i did not compete because of an injury. Hope to achieve a new PB and progress even further next year!

Definitely a good track for throwing and as i used to train there a bit during the last few yrs, holds good memories!!
Thrown a 67 and a 66 there in the past!!
You should speak to John Waugh who thows there with Ant and a few others!! Maybe he can help!!
