Im somewhat terrified by the fourth and fifth last pictures ! ...... if my arm does that when i throw i'll eat my own head ...... of course the fact that it doesnt do that is probably a strong reason why i throw 55m less than steve ;D this is a really great sequence, i printed a copy off from the web page with the comments and try to read through it everynow and again when things are starting to slip... like tonight for instance ! just got back from training where i blocked like a man with no bones in his left leg ! and an arm made from jelly

Eat Away.... you will be amazed at what angles your body goes through when you throw... get someone to video you throwing then play it back frame by frame the first time i saw myself throwing i couldn't believe what i was seeing....

You should be able to connect your cam to the pc, its best to get in touch with Sony, to see what cables and software you need....but it depends on how old it is I guess. What I do is connect the cam to the t.v and then film from my digi cam....which I have the software to connect to the pc.

When looking at the picture I would have thought the weight centre line is too far forward at the start of the throw. I always thought the weight should be a little further back. Maybe I'm jelouse I can't throw as far and I'm trying to pick something out. Also he is not hitting up with his hips and belly button. AND pulls his left arm away. I'm sure I do it so much better ;D!!! ?!!!

Just a thought Neil - active right hip means the momentum is driving into the left sided block. Al a Mc Neill
