???Hi, Can anyone suggest where I might be able to buy some dry hand grip which comes in the form of a gel called "Grrip"? It's not the "sticky stuff" that comes in a tube. My son managed to buy some at one of the stalls at English Schools last year but we have now run out and I have not yet found anyone who stocks it. Any leads or suggestions would be very welcome Thanks

tacky? - neuff do it in a toothpaste tube, remember to protect that tube with your life depending on it, as if it gets spiked then it will ruin everything it touches!! ;D - i think everyone's been there with that one!
if your son likes the chalk also, don't buy it from athletics based places, it's very expensive from them - best go to an outdoor type spot and look for climbing stuff and they have it there, i get mine for a quid a block.

Kleeneezee have a product ambitiously called 'Stick stuff Remover' which removes 'Tacky' easily from hands, javelins and grips. David had a Javelin nearly fail at the Northern's because the weight distribution was affected by the amount of Tacky on the Grip.

That venetian turpentine that Neuff sells (comes with a warning not to get it on your skin !) should come off with surgical spirit. Don't be tempted to use anything stronger like white spirit as this will also remove the lovely painted finish to your javelin too.
