Well done Sadie and goodluck for the race, i used to be a cross country runner too you know- even went to the intercounties would you believe. If you set your mind to something and grit your teeth... its all out there for the taking. I hope you are keeping up the sprints and plyo work too, we don't want you to develop joggers legs afterall!

I did not teach Sadie to spell though, I put that down to her being excited about tomorrow!
Sadie did not want to lose weight to become a better Athlete....I wanted her to have the endurance and stamina to be as good as she can be! Sadie said those horrible words that us Coaches do not like to hear..I can run....I cant do a "run up".....I cant do this that or the other etc!
I am so proud of her that people will never ever comprehend, and because I am her Dad these things go without saying! However, as far as Javelin is concerned, I am not her Dad, but her Coach..and in that respect Sadie, you are a top friend, a hard worker....and a person that never ever gives up, no matter what you do!
So, tomorrow, when you cross that line after completing 5K in a x country race...remember..it is you that has done this, and nobody else! In that same respect, it will be you that grabs that Hammer or Javelin and gives it all you have inside......THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER......good luck! X
