Right it's back on the diet from today after a planned break from it this weekend...
I am hoping to shift 4lbs this week to get close to the 1st lost since the start of this new venture.. i imagine i have put a lb or two on over the weekend and i'm not too bothered about it because i know that i can control my eating now.
today i have had a banana and an apple for breakfast ( i got up too late for porridge) and will have a repeat of that at about 11am
i have got tuna and pasta with tomato and cucumber for my lunch.. no mayo!!

last night's dinner was chicken breast cooked in the frying pan with olive oil (just enough to cook it) and then finished off by cooking it in sweet chilli sauce to make it sticky. salad and a sweet potato no fats added to the potato. desert was a few chopped strawberries and a tiny bit of ice cream (seriously tiny)
Today i have had
Apple, banana two satsumas
lunch was rice with peas, scrambled egg, cucumber, tomato and BBQ chicken breast small slices. Fresh fruit salad for desert.
De-caf coffee and water are filling the holes
i'm looking forward to weigh in on saturday morning!!!

chilli sauce a no no? errrm depends how you like it really - it was one of my staple choice dressings for turning a bland salad into something with a little more "zing" to it when i was dieting this sort of time last year and i didn't do too bad on my diet back then i think as long as he's sticking to around 350 -400 cals a meal with a drink [ie water!] spaced out through 5 meals he'll be fine. keep it up sam

last night's dinner was a toasted whole wheat sandwich with low fat cheese (small amount) and some of the BBQ chicken breast and a huge salad. desert was a low calorie angel delight with some fresh strawberries.
breakfast today - same as yesterday apple, banana and two satsumas
Lunch today is pasta with tuna and peas and some sweet chilli sauce in it. desert is a fresh fruit salad..and it looks lovely
all this food is freshly prepared.. none of it is packaged or processed in any way!!
tonight is a rest night for me as i trained hard on tuesday and threw consistently well although i kept missing the point and hitting over it.. all the same i was throwing just shy of my PB and only off 7 steps too!!! Last night i worked hard in the gym... i can certainly feel it today

sam, are you working out roughly how many cals you consuming per day? this can be a major help.

again i had a weekend off the diet and i am back on it this week.
i can't believe that i will continue to see this rapid weight loss for much longer and i guess i will struggle along with maybe 1lb a week loss.
I'm not doing very much cardio work at the moment and plan to step that up from next week to try and combat the slow down of the natual weight loss through diet change alone.
my key focuses in training at the moment are working to be faster on my right foot and to not fold over in the last 3 (see my signature pic). last week i was much faster on my right foot and found a big increase in distances in an instance

this morning i was going to weigh myself but i bottled it.
I am so keen to lose weight that i am afraid of not losing the weight.. this week although i have kept to the diet i don't feel like i have lost anything.
next week i am starting back on my cardio regeime in an effort to kick start another series of large weight losses..
I still have my targets which are all achieveable
down to 16st by start of august and then to get to 15 stone by the end of october. that will be 1st lost every 2 months

"another series of large weight losses"
Trust me Sam, little and often is the way. If you've the mental toghness to do it try... ...not weighing yourself for a month but training hard throughout. That way small deviations in the wrong direction en route won't dishearten you because they'll be lost in the bigger picture; but you do need to be strict about it.

spot on pembrokian, strictness - but allow a cheat day a week and then being organised ie always having the foods you need in the fridge will see you do it.
