Was Just wondering how much are you guys looking to increase your strength/Power levels over the coming winters training. For example how much are you lifting now and what are you looking to improve to in Power Cleans, Back Squat, Snatch and bench Press? It would also be interesting if some of the 'old guys' like nije and slinger put how much there maximum lifts were when they were in good condition lol. Power Clean =100kg -> 120Kg Snatch = 70Kg -> 100Kg Back Squat = 130kg -> 170Kg Bench press = 100kg -> 120kg Peace

hi tysonJ here are my best for a few exercises at around the time i did my PB in 2000 when i was 19........
DOB 6/3/81 height 1.78m, weight 80kg..ish [for now add 10kg to that! ;D] clean....90kg snatch....60kg front squat [only half]....120kg OHS 4kg....20.29m FOHS 4kg....17.75m standing LJ - 2.80m standing TJ - 7.75m standing throw 800g javelin - 40m..ish 5 stride throw 800g javelin 55m normal PB off a run up - 71.79m
..........SO not very good!!!
i certainly wasn't very gifted physically, it was something i was starting to get into, along with jumping and ball exercises as i realised that i wasn't going to improve just doing what i was doing ie throwing lots.........technically i was ok, but had little power available to me.

thats the plan! There are no more excuses for me after that.... But what do my current results look like? - those of a 60m thrower! i hope its as simple in reality as it is on paper

Well, knowing you and your style I would say that 65-67 would be max with your current results. And that would mean a really good throw... But by improving everything little and concentrating to plyos and technique you have the best changes for great improving.
