I haven't used one but it looks to me like another flashy 'home workout' toy to give you instant results for no effort or your money back etc Likely to add to the pile of other 'revolutionary' gadgets in the back of the garage.
sorry to be sceptic but this type of thing is good for getting back into exercise after a bad injury for example but not alot more.
If you want to work on core stability for javelin throwing there are tons of really good exercises that won't cost you anything.

"Many of the exercises you perform with Bodyblade® mimic the same movements athletes use in competition, allowing you to train your body to execute moves faster and with more force."
What?
What sport involves keeping a wobbly piece of plastic still?
May have uses in rehab but thats about it. Looks like it uses very little range = crap for power and sport.

When the washing maching is on full spin, lean on it.....it will do the same thing, and maybe help your calf muscles too......that was tongue in cheek by the way...before I start getting slated! ;D

Thanks guys. I have to say I was thinking similar things but the thing that did catch my eye about it was the studies that have been done (allegedly independently, and I found them elsewhere from the product website) which says that when used by baseball pitchers the speed of arm increased significantly over a fairly short period.

I've got one from my physio for rehab. I found it very difficult to use, particurly with my left hand (but there's a reason for that that most of you won't have a problem with). It's one of the reasons my shoulder has further destabalised.
On the otherhand, there are fits of laughter when you try and use it for the first few times.
I'd expect it's a good tool if you aresomeone who was good at music and movement and knows what their body is doing.

wow, that goes to show that if the human body were equipped with springier tendons we would be capable of some fairly amazing stuff
