over next few weeks ill be changing to technical work, keep doing the speed work, and every couple of weeks ill throw in some stamina/strength work (like a nasty hill session or a long outdoor circuit which includes the hill twice in one lap approx 1500m's ;D) to keep up the fitness...my athletes love me will continue through the summer with indoor circuit training, medball work, and plyometrics.

I'm gonna keep my session the same for the moment, but my weights % keep coming down. Over the next few weeks, now that the clock's foward and the suns out....i will do my bounds, runs, medball ect in the day time (tue/thur) and leave the evenings strickly for throwing (so qualitys alot better). When it comes to the time i have comp after comp i will drop to 2 weights sessions a week....and they will only be light and fast just to maintain things.

I have been throwing for the last three weeks, with weights I will be doing the same thing.... working hard maxing on the squats, building up quickly to the max weight. Keeping consistant on the rest 80% - 90%.
At the moment me and my squad (me and two others) are working on the run up and getting the speed we have picked up over the winter in to the last phase and driving the knee down and through.
Not worried too much about the distance for them as long as the technique is going well. For me I'm looking at about 48m - 50m from a two stepwalk and throw... (no just step at the end).
I can feel the winter work starting to pay off! ;D ;D
And I can't wait to get down a train with Ant and Woff... I love the little comps at the end of the session.
Ant when are you throwing, tues, wed, thurs? Hope we can sort out those little sh##ty jumpers.
