Since I got some useful feedback from the videoclip I posted here, I thought I'd post a few photos which are taken from a better view of me throwing in training. Please let me know if you have any comments on what you see. Cheers, James

The arm delay is pretty good and your right foot is used well but if your elbow was higher up in the 2nd pic and basically your whole body was a little more upright then you would add another 5m plus onto it. Also the left side opens out quite early so try and keep it closed off for as long as possible cos on the last pic u can see that it has tilted over slightly and if it is kept up closed off 4 longer it will be in a higher, less tilted position when u finish. If you work on keeping your right arm and left arm in a horizontal line across your upper body then this will stop you form leaning back too much and the power will go forwards into the jav and not all up.
Hope this helps a bit (even though I'm not a proper coach!)

to be honest james i cant pick too many faults here... im not a coach afteralll, and my technique is woefull !
but i would say that your base looks a little small to me. if you can manage to still hold the block i would try and get the left leg out further. its not too clear on the pics but you may also want to try and land the right foot pointing further forward to allow a faster hip drive.
again its also not too clear on the pic but in pic 2 you are either hitting the arm strike to early prior to a full hip drive or you are shortening the arm.
hope this helped, remember i'm hardly yoda so i may be wrong

Pictures dont always give an accurate view of whats going on plus it does vary depending on what angle they are taken from. Anyhow I'd suggest to have a look at your arm action as it does indicate an early arm which will knock about 5m off you throw.

Hmmmkey then i'll take it back for the horizontal throw . Cause it isn't the 700 but the 800 ) But still your front feet could have been faster on the ground. And then u hadn't turned your pelvis "open" ,and also because the plant took some time, the arm gets a little angle in it... (it could be a bit longer). And just what the others say about the photoserie (they are completely right) So guess hold your arm a bit higher and work on the food work!! Crazy Dutchman P.s. just giving my vision perhaps.... U know it a lot better cause u've seen him throwing a lot more.
