My son (u15) throws are turning so the tip goes to the right and subsequently the tail points way left - hopefully it's easy to solve but I'm struggling! Any advice??

he's throwing too much "inside" the javelin allowing his point to drift away from his head and his body moving to the left side as the throw is completed... is my guess!!!

have a look from the back of the runway when he is throwing

Who is he coached by? His coach should be looking at this sort of thing, although maybe he/she is working on other stuff?

Sam - Thanks again for the advice, it was quite clear watching him the other night from the back of the runway. They are going out straight and true now!!
