I watched that throw by Sam in Cardiff, he got it right first throw and it looked really clean. He has really stepped up this year.

Good chuck Sam - shame Matti wasn't there to make a competition of it and push you both on! Good job to you and chris - sould have thrown into the headwnd - it would have gone further!

I was also pleased with Brad for finally putting his 700g demon behind him. finally picked up a top comp medal with his 61.19m throw. he has got two more events left, the eastern young final at chelmsford this weekend and then the english schools multi events the following weekend

Nothing so far about Sam Taylor-Outridge's PB and Record at the Games!!! 66.93m is a very decent chuck and having seen him throw quite a few times now, i think he has a lot of potential and him and Chris have come a long way since this time last yr!! Big Congrats The lad has done well this season...been a hard slog all round, but just goes to show that the hard work is done in winter and carried through. 2 weeks off now, bar a possible comp to lay a starter mark with the 8...then down to work again. Next year will be quite telling I hope, in more ways than one so I hope Matti is tip top and all others, young and not so, girl and boy, stay fit and injury free..... Happy Hunting all x

Good lob for Sam that, purely selfish reasons but it's nice to see no-one this year in the under 17's has gone ahead of me all time - nearly but not quite.
