All silver (like a Held) with red tip and a good chunky binding - can't recall how it went but it will be seeing some action soon Deffo one of the first made I'm sure unless the name OTE had managed to pass me by prior to the late 80's!

Look after that Gary that's one of the models Zelezny did the WR with - presuming yours is the tailwind version as opposed the headwind. The originals did have a slightly different shaped nose to the ones OTE do now, I have one of the originals and 4 of the newer red and silvers - none of which are in a competitive state I am sad to say 2 of which are 90m rated ones, 1 80 and even 1 70m......funnily enough all the C of G of the spears were the same, despite the rating and felt exactly alike! ;D The red and silver one when zelezny did his WR had 90m competition tailwind on it, but for some reason - np doubt a marketing ploy they changed them to 95m.... and also mucked about making them all gold and then made an "EXTRA" in all purple and then all silver and hum bug esque coloured - bizarre as they had a superb jav in the original 90m red and silver......message to OTE - if it ain't broke don't fix it!!

i have two "XTRA" tailwind javs which are all gold and are only rated to 70m they seem to ping out of the hand... i have two headwind ones which are red and silver and bonne has a comp tailwind of the newer colours... plus one in the garage with a broken point on it...
