Good to see another member at the trafford grand prix, it was dodgy weather but there were three throwers around the 50 metre mark (including myself) which in my view is a good sign. I dont think that i have thrown in good conditions all season, but we can only hope. Is there any more throwers who live in or around manchester, if so get down to trafford every other tuesday, more the better. is anyone going to the Trafford Open tommorow night (19th) hopeing to be there meself, just summut different than training ;D Ben

All you need to do is turn up on the night, and enter. It is two pounds entrance fee plus one pound fifty per event. The javelin is on about 7.30-8.00 but is notorious for running late due to the hammer and discus comps. Last week, my sixth round throw was at about 10.15 pm, a record in my books, but it is a god set up and good atmosphere. Hope to see you there, how will i recognise you?
