Good work Sambo, according to my calculations that means you are definatley strong enough to lob 60m now. Add some improvements to your mobility and you'll be all setup for a satisfying summer season.

looking to start my january training in the gym last night and got there to find that there had been a flood. a water pipe to the loo in the gym had burst from the cold and flooded out most of the gym. My training session was an hour of using a stupid tiny mop and two towels to get rid of the water... 7 buckets later pretty much all of it had ben removed bar a few small pools of the stuff... it was actually hard work!
don't know when we will be able to use the gym properly now which could cause a problem for my lot.. will have to try and fit in a lifting session at lee valley on saturday if it hasn't fully dried out before then.

well my winter training has been going ok. only had one injury and one illness to contend with and both of which are pretty much all cleared up(the cold).
have lost 7lbs so far since christmas in an attempt to be more agile and have taken up playing 7 a side football league (in goal so my throwing arm get's a work out!!!) this has added to the amount of cardio i am doing which i think has been helping.
hoping to have lost another 10 - 14lbs by the start of april...

have you thought about playing squash instead of footie. Better for agility and uses the shoulder well??
