Ok this is your chance to add questions to the following for slingers interview! 1. How long have you been involved in athletics and what made you start? 2. Why javelin throwing? Do you do any other events? 3. Who have been your biggest influences in the past and present? 4. Can you describe your best memory/achievement in your javelin career so far. 5. Can you describe your worst memory/ disappointment (if you have one) 6. What are your short term and long term goals for the future? 7. Do you train alone or with a group? What are the advantages and disadvantages of your situation? 8. How often do you train and what does your programme consist of? 9. What or who is your favourite... - Javelin - Javelin boot - Javelin thrower - Training exercise - Gym lift - Football team? 10. Who do you aspire to be like? You are in Charge of Javelin for the UK, what would be the 1st thing you would do or change? What the would be your advice to a Young Thrower coming into the sport, say 14/15 years old? Given the complexities of the event, what would you focus your time on to get the greatest increase in the shortest time for an old Fart like me, sorry, for a Veteran like me?! You have a group of small kids around 12 to 14, apart from the fun aspect, what sort of things would you include in your sessions as a Coach? What puts you off in a competition more than anything else? What question have you never been asked, that you wish someone would? ;D Not a lot there then young Man!

1 What is it that you love so much about javelin to make you comeback after such a big injury, given that you are unlikely to ever 'make it' now? (sorry-not trying to bring you down lad) 2 Have you ever considered getting dreadlocks? (i might be now though) 3 If you could go back and do things differently, what would you change?

4 This country often has a good crop of promising young javelin throwers but very few ever fulfill their potential. Having once been in that situation yourself can you give an insight into why this is? Is there any wisdom you would like to share with such youngsters from your experience.

Couple of questions for you... ;D
