Seen any javelin news recently, think of someone it would be good to interview or any ideas on potential sponsors? Any other ideas that can make thejavelinclub website a better resource? Please post details here of any ideas you have.

A little aside. Did the interview with Goldie ever make it? I can't remember ever seeing it on the "old" site and I briefly saw it on the "new" site, but it appears to have disappeared again.

Does no-one really want to put a question up for Pitkämäki's interview? Opportunities like this don't exactly come along everyday, its a great chance to learn a few things and to get an insight into what you need to do to really make it as a top thrower.
If not then i will get on and do the interview- Slinger will be joining me so there will be plenty of chat flying about.
Last chance people- speak now or forever hold your peace...etc

Dear Tero
What advice would you give to a 40 year old, who is wanting to learn to throw the Javelin. Where would YOU start, what part of the technique would you start off with?
Would you incorperate anything else?
What advice would you give to a coach new to the Javelin event, and would there be a start point, or particular item(s) to watch out for.
I am mainly working with under 13 and 15 girls and boys at the moment new to throwing in general.
Thanks

Dear Tero,
1. For every 10 hours training, how do you prioritise the aspects that you work on in winter training? What's the best thing to do if you have only 3 sessions pere week of 90 minutes each?
2. Same question but for competition season? What special preparations for big competitions?
3. What do you see as the fundamental basics of javelin throwing and how would you prioritise them for technical session when working on a "couple of things"?
4. How would you structure a coaching session for 6 youngsters? How would this differ if there were 18 and it was cold outside?
5. How do you measure your progress on your training to align with your goals for competition distances?
Thank you for taking the time to listen.
Jeremy

How long rest do you take between sessions? Do you listen to your body when it says it needs a break? How many intense sessions in a row do you do?
