Interesting when people write about losing your left side. Look at Nick's left side from the back, I'd say his left is on the same vertical plane as his right. However, look at his right foot facing 1 o'clock and the fact that his hip is turning before his left foot lands. This is creating serious width on his delivery - also done at speed so this position is achieved and then passed very quickly. Hence why he throws a long way! He appears to collapse over his left as well but it still went 79m.
Also - I shoudl also be noted that he threw some poor throws under 7om (for him) and these could be clips of these!

I could be wrong.... but..... isn't his throwing arm slightly low? (i.e. shoulder, elbow, wrist alighnment) Does he throw out the side slightly as he can't actually get his arm over the top?

Hi Louby
HIs arm is basically at right angles with his lats so I woudl say it was acceptible. I'd also say that the still shoudwing his left adn right shoudlers nearly in a vertical line on delivery is his way of getting it over the top and not throwing around the side. Ultimatley, all throwers loose thier left side to an extent and cannot think of many who actually throw over te top - look at Zelezny from behind - thye lean away to make space for the jav! and if anyone is guilty of throwing around the side - I reckon Zelezny is.
How are you Loubs - I was meaning to call you t'other day to see how you were. How's the knee?
