Here is a sequence of Mr Bryson in action. Please also take a look at the video which has more throws in. The file is quite small so should load quickly (despite what the webpage says). The video is definitely worth looking at and even better with sound, take a look - you'll see what I mean. Video: www.thejavelinclub.com/JB.htmlSequence:

the boys back in town !
howdi all, apologies for the long absense from the site. been working butt off paying the bills with new promotion type thing at work, trips abroad, tarining in between and seeing a girl that lives in swindon.... which is MILES from leeds !
so come on then do your worst and pic me to pieces!, this is the first time ive seen this clip as a group of photo's cos jim's far better at this computer lark than me. first impressions from me are still a lot of work needed on the block which is collapsing and if you watch the video (def worth it) not nearly enough speed being taken into the final few considering its a full run up.
would love as much feedback as possible good and bad

JB Seems as tho the left side is collapsing havent seen the vid cause works computers are crap n cant see the pics 100% also seems as the hips are dropping quite a bit you ever had any lower back problems? try keeping the left arm a little bit higher as this will cause the left side to drop which means you could pull down on the jav will have a proper look later on the vid

similar sort of stuff to james john.........it needs to have more activity from the feet, this in turn will get you into a better 'power' position [by this i mean moment of final right foot contact] at the mo. the left isn't even past the right.......................john it's obvious you are a big lad! ;D [ - tall!!!!!!!!!!! ] but it's far too 'short' everywhere - legs especially, trust me to throw further than 45m you don't have top run in at 100mph, slinger style!!! ;D - RELAX, chill have range and width.................................with all thus said i do like the bit of a shout - still not quite a slinger shout, but hey who can??? ;D ;D ;D and i also like the length [wahey!! ;D] - of the top half, what were you thinking of eh??? oh yeah leeds to swindon mmmmmmm.......just checked route finder 200miles and 4 HOURS!!!!!!!!! WHAT? you must be bonkers!

Just wathce dthe vid and looked at the stills. In my humble opinion...
Mate you have no follow through to speak of, i.e you are not penetrating the throw and have to really apply the brakes to stop. Your left leg collapses, probably because your right leg does the same. Rather than landing softly and driving forward with teh right, it just crumbles, hence you get that terrible cramped position at the end. If your righ foot drove forward and up it would take you forward.
Your left arm is too high (arguably) on right foot contact and as a result, what goes up must come down and it takes you and the throw low at the front and prevents you from pentrating over your left leg. I woud strongly suggest tht youdon't lift your left arm any higher. As someone who did this a mian fault and took me ages to put it right, I can relate to this. The only diff is that I still managed good pentration at the end.
Just looks like a static and short ranged throw. Use you leg mate and it will increase your range on your top half. Lets not start on the jav release angle! It could be the video though! Good shot though if you hit that target though! And it looks as if you bail out to teh right hand side whne thowing, reducing resultant forces, and not properly activating the hip. COuld be blocking the left side but could only tell if you looked at the front view.
My humble opinion!
