Now that the swelling has gone down, I had another trip to the physios to discover, not only have I torn my Soleus, but I've also torn my Tibialis Anterior or was it the posterior and something to do with the fascia. I really do need to get my physio to write these things down I feel so talented! ;D ;D

Don't know. Some of them have been torn for a while, scarred over and re torn. With the Tibialis Posterior (not anterior) thing, it's the tendon I've torn which isn't good news for me. I've also torn the Flexor Digitorum Longus as well as some fascia somewhere and the Soleus. I didn't notice a thing until I started limping after JavFest! ;D I had been wondering why I'd been struggling so much with speed work and run ups! ;D What can I say, high pain threshold?

You must be about as sensitive as a brick. Last season i was throwing with a partially ruptured achiles tendon, you tend to ignore these things and hope they will go away-i was having trouble with my footwork too. Is it the plant leg? Get it sorted and rehab-ed and come back next season with new vigor.

Yeah it's the plant (left) leg. Most of any pain I've always associated with my achilles. It doesn't help that I'm missing some pain receptors and nerve endings on the left hand side of my body. Just lucky, I guess.
