I can't help but want to do 3 throws in a competition lol
I've got a real chesty cough now so I'm hoping it's clearing up =/ But I don't want to take any more medication just in case there is something I've missed that's illegal :s

i did shot, discus and javelin till i was 15, i actually started out the throwing events with shot and it was actually from doing this event i found that the release of feelings and emotions can make the thing go further, i then brought it to my javelin throwing when i eventually took it up and anyone who has seen me throw now in competition will know the kind of raw emotion i bring to my throwing.....so i owe a lot to my background with other events.
one thing the other events brought me was that if my main event, the javelin wasn't going great, i'd have a chance to change and do something else for a week or two - the age old saying "a change is as good as a rest" is a very appropriate one.

Atm I suppose I am lucky just javelin! I use to be really good at tennis but £20 for half an hour now thats taking the mick! also boxing I did alot aswell but I dropped all of them for javelin in the end! still do a lil boxing now and its really good fun taking all your anger out on a bag or a person hehe well dont do ring work anymore but use to. I think its always a good idea to have a back up plan like slinger said and you should continue all of your three throws. I suppose its when the lack of enthusiasm and fun has gone from an event thats when you should think whether you want to continue but as long as your having fun ect then thats the main thing My back up plan is well would love to have a go at power lifting! or maybe I could follow the foot steps of kelly morgan and do boxing!

But I don't want to take any more medication just in case there is something I've missed that's illegal :s Robyn, so long as you bought the medication in this country, all you need to do is put in the nake (or the start of it) in the website. It searches for the possible matches and tells you if it's banned or not. If you put in Benylin, it gives you all the variants in the UK. TBH, I have only found one over the counter medication that has been banned and I've had to change. Prescription medication, however...... But once again, put n the name that's on the bottle and the website will tell you.
