I am confused. Is the information that the Power of 10 sent wrong? Why are athletics weekly reporting something completely different to what we have been told are the official results. Anyone in the know care to comment? Upon further inspection of the athleticsdata website (that is the statistical website run by Athletics Weekly, it says that his best throw this season is 72.15.

I did exchange texts with him in the lastweek or so. I didn't think to ask about this as I thought it must be a joke.
I think there is some of the "Walter Mitty" in all of us, and this is probably a good and healthy thing. But when the dreams take over reality this can cause problems.
While we all probably have better things to do in life I'll trya and get hold of him over the weekend and see what the score is.
Jezza
PS Hope all spearpeople realise that it's about 7 months till the next competition and don't train like olympians over the next few months. As for me, with those those I'm training with, we'll probably keep it fun: working on the technique, a few med balls, a few drills. Maybe once a week, twice a week towards Christmas, improving technique into muscle memory, rhyhtm, range and connection. It would be interesting to have a separate thread (no doubt someone will start one)on winter training / summer and competition preparation; we could probably all learn off each other. This will be my "fifth" winter training, and each one has been considerably smarter than the previous one. It will be interestig to view other peoples' positive thoughts on this!

H's competition was on the 9th July in Nuoro, east central Sardinia. The meeting was called the Memorial Paolo Delogu. Can anyone find the official results? I cannot. If anyone can it would put this to rest.

Why was my post deleted without my consultation!!!!!!!!! Explanation Please 2 posts were deleted, not just yours. The first of the posts you complained about for being irrelevant. Therefore I removed that post, your post would have then been irrelevant as I am sure you will agree so I removed that one too.

Thanks Carrie, I guess this clears this matter up once and for all. The official results say 70.97 and the claimed 74.97 is not true. I guess its a shame we didn't hear from Chris to know this.
