its nothing serious, physio says i have tendonitus in the shoulder, an injured anterior deltoid and supraspinatus muscle. he gave me simple stretches that i have to do to loosen up the tendons because they are not very developed yet. when he notices that my tendons have developed we will start to work on makig them stronger. the weird thing is that i dont feel any pain in the supraspinatus and deltoid bt apparently that is where the pain stems from... anyway its good news because i get to compete on sunday i just need to keep doing the stretches and apply voltarol 3-4 times a day. on saturday my shoulder will be strapped in for sunday. it was quite funny because he also said that if i do not work on my posture i will end up looking like the hunchback of notre dam...

be careful, a physio told me i had tendonitus in the sholder and that id be ok in a short space of time, in my mind i always knew it was a bit more serious then that! My symptoms are not the same as yours as its only throwing that gives me pain, but after lots of rest and shed loads of work it was no better!
As the guys said shoulder problems are career ruining injurys, i can tell you that first hand, as now i cant throw a javelin without pain.

true, im not going to throw very hard on sunday as i dont want to make the shoulder injury worse. im just going to try and throw with ease and rather concentarte on technique than power!
