Mmm i'm not sure it would work, just a cool thing to do, could star like a trend amoung other jav clubs and I could claim copywrites to the idea and get rich quick! kushdi.

Here you go.... another idea for a 'fun - style' comp. Have throwers 'teams' enter either in pairs or groups of 3 with, say, a junior, a senior and one of the girls. Winning team is the one with the furthest cumulative throw when distances are added together.

Now that is a very good idea! Maybe introduce it as an olympic event! So we can have relay team equivalents and start making lottery funding for us!!!! Good call Caroline. Nice meeting you on Sat - sorry didn't hang around - was busy pressing flesh and stirring up trouble! In a nice way. It actually nice going to such meets because you can catch up with people you haven't seen for a while.

Sam H told me something the other week I would love to see at the jav fest. Aparantly in the development and testing of javelins a javelin firing machine is used to test javs and their ratings, i don't know if they have any of these in englang but i personally would love to see a javelin machine fire a javelin 100m+. Anyone heard of this before? Would be quite cool aswell to see how far your own jav can physically go!
