Having seen the picture and the others on the BBC website I think the photographer needs shooting. Whilst there is a couple of nice pictures he generally fails to make the best of the athletes assets.
For example Jade Johnson has been made to look extremely masculine when she is really pretty in real life. Mainly because of the pose she had to take.
Also for Goldie the pose and the body position arent the most flattering. It makes her look rather shapeless. High leg panties rather than shorts would also have helped make her look curvey and lengthened her legs as well.
This bugs me on various levels. One im a female of course i will pick fault with a photo. We're highly trained it but some of these athletes look so much prettier than their pictures and thats really annoying. Secondly in some case these photos really inforce the butch, masculine and unattractive stereotype that female athletes have to deal with. It was an opportunity to show some positive images missed.

I think they were trying to be seasonal by doing halloween (Donna Frazer), st patricks day (jade with the small child), Wimbledon etc etc As for those boots Lee is actually wearing black shows and baggy gray socks! If she wants some cool but rock looking boots she should try "new rocks" but be expecting to pay up to £130 for them I have two pairs. One for hang about in and one for going out in:- Sorry for the long link but dont know how to do the picture thingy

................that's a very scary boot! .......as a man's perspective anyway, because firstly i'm 5'10" tall and even if you were 4'10" you'd be taller than me!!!!! and in the javelin world dominated by 6'5" men i don't need women taller than me aswell!!!!! also i would NOT fancy being booted by anyone wearing them!!! man that would smart for a while........lastly i don't think i've ever met you motherhen as i would remember blue flames, but is this the normal dailly stuff you like to wear???
