I wish I could get my right foot any where near where Sarah-Anne's is and I want that base. Sigh!

ok fair point.. i shall endeavour to get my point across
Sarah-anne needs to work on the following things.
1. left arm up level with her shoulder.. best way to do this is aproach with the elbow as close to being level with the shoulder as possible. This is important because the left side initiates the movement across the chest and into the throwing arm. Without this movement the only way to get the throwing arm moving is by dropping the left side down to the ground...creating a bowling action.. which leads me onto the next point
2. right arm needs to be higher.. she should work on carrying her hand up at least level with her ear, in height. From watchng her she drops her right arm..her left arm is down and then she drops her left shoulder into the ground upon plant which brings on a bowling action. the flight of the spear is an up and over action instead of a forwards action.
fact is, sarah is throwing 44m by basically bowling the javelin. If she can work on the above points and throw forwards i'd expect her to be throwing 44m off 5 steps not a full run-up and the UK record (U17) could be in a lot of danger!
